🐾☀️ A Kind Reminder During the Hot Weather ☀️🐾

We love seeing your four-legged friends, but over the next few days we'd much rather not see any dogs in our pubs.

With temperatures rising, even a short walk in the heat can be dangerous for many dogs. Once temperatures exceed 20°C, the risk of heat-related illness increases significantly, and temperatures over 30°C can quickly become life-threatening.

For this reason, our teams have been instructed to refuse service to anyone arriving with a dog during the current hot spell.

This isn't about being unfriendly to dogs – quite the opposite. It's about encouraging owners to leave them at home where they're cool, comfortable and safe.
Please help us spread the message and keep our canine companions out of harm's way. ❤️🐶

🍺🇬🇧 HAPPY NATIONAL BEER DAY BRITAIN! 🇬🇧🍺

Today we're raising a glass not only to Britain's national drink, but also to one of the region's most historic breweries – Joule's Brewery...

The Joule's story began in Staffordshire in the late 1700s when Francis Joule established a brewery in Stone, making use of the area's famous brewing water. His son, John Joule, expanded the business and helped build a reputation for producing exceptional ales that were enjoyed across Britain and exported around the world.

For almost 200 years, Joule's was at the heart of brewing in Staffordshire before the original brewery closed in the 1970s. Thankfully, the story didn't end there. The brand was revived and brewing returned under the Joule's name, with the brewery now based in Market Drayton and proudly continuing the tradition of producing quality cask ales and running some of the finest traditional pubs in the country.

Today you'll find favourites such as: 🍺 Joule's Pale Ale 🍺 Joule's Blonde 🍺 Slumbering Monk 🍺 Green Monkey Lager 🍺 Seasonal and limited edition brews throughout the year.
