Well well well, where do I begin all I can say is that tonight was AMAZING thank you to everyone that come along to say goodbye the what everyone call and will always be known as The Rose And Crown

It’s been a fun but very emotional night

From myself and all of the other landlords and ladies throughout the years thank you to all of our amazing customers and regulars that have stepped foot through the door even if it was just once

Thank you Becky for being our entertainment for tonight you was amazing

I have loved spending the last 7 years here at the rose stating in the kitchen and glass collecting to leaving as the last landlord to run the rose

It really has been the best 7 years, thank you Michelle for giving me the chance to run the pub and putting my name forward

But I want to say thank you to Layla, everyone knows Layla and if it wasn’t for her giving me the kitchen job back when we had Sunday lunches I don’t think I’d be here saying this now so thank you so much

Now this is good bye but who knows we might cross paths again in another pub

Well then as most of you already know the rose will be closing, tomorrow will be the last trading day here at the rose

The amazing Becky Demaine will be with us from 8pm

The last orders bell will be called at 12:30 for the final time and the bar will close at 1am

We hope to see you all for the final time and let’s make it a good one

That’s right, this Saturday the amazing Becky Demain will be returning to the rose for the final time starting at 8pm

Becky has performed at the rose many times and every night has been brilliant, so let’s make this last one the best one

We can’t wait to spend the last Saturday night here at the rose with you all

New Year’s Day slight change of opening, we will be open 2pm-10pm, this give me a night to get things ready for Saturday as I have something special to share with you all that needs a bit more work

Well then, tonight was the last time we got to celebrate New Years Eve in the rose and what a night it has been

Now it all eyes on Saturday for our party and a night to remeber and the last Saturday in the rose we hope everyone can join us this Saturday to say farewell to the rose know to many many people through the years

BELLOW IS THE NEW YEARS EVE BAR TIMES

In case you haven’t seen New Years Eve we are open until 2am 👀

The bar will close at 11:45pm and will reopen at 00:05 this give the bar staff a little break and to join in with the count down to midnight

Last orders will be called at 00:30 and the bar will close at 1am

we look forward to seeing you all to celebrate the last ever New Year’s Eve in the rose

Well then, this week Shannon and Will have had the early but safe arrival of baby Callum weighing 5lb
Little Callum was 4 weeks early so clearly the little man doesn’t want to miss out on the Christmas festivities
Shannon will be bringing him in over the festive period to meet you all so make sure to pop in and meet him 🩵
