Burglar is an alternative rock band based in Dublin, Ireland. Willow and Eduardo formed Burglar after meeting in college in 2021 and bonding over their love of alternative acts such as Stereolab and Smashing Pumpkins. Their backgrounds couldn’t be more different; Eduardo grew up around the punk rock scene in his hometown of Goiânia, Brazil, while Willow comes from the indie-pop scene in Dublin. However, their blend of inspirations has given Burglar a unique and addictive sound. Willow’s dissociative lyricism and Eduardo’s confessional style result in energetic and catchy songs with interchangeable vocal leads and omnipresent harmonic work, alongside distorted guitars and buzzing synths.
Their latest single ‘Lovey’ was Loud & Quiet’s ‘Track of the Week’, and gained coverage from CRACK Magazine, NME, HERO Mag, and more. Burglar have also been picked for DORK’s HYPE list 2026, and featured in the Irish Times 50 People to Watch for 2026.
They’ve become a mainstay of the Irish gig scene, and supported the liked of Greg Freeman, The Belair Lip Bombs, US Girls, UGLY, and Adore across Ireland and the UK, with London shows in the Windmill, the George Tavern, the Social, and Moth Club.
They return to Manchester on 9th October to play The Talleyrand.
