The Three Magnets

The Three Magnets The Three Magnets is a Wetherspoon pub based in the Heart of the U.K's first Garden City.

Letchworth was the first 'Garden City', inspired by the work of the urban planner Ebenezer Howard. He illustrated his idea for 'Garden Cities' with his famous three-magnets diagram, from which this Wetherspoon pub gets its name. The site of this Wetherspoon pub was formerly Brooker's Store (selling furniture and hardware). It was designed and built as a shop (alongside the entrance to the arcade)

as part of the town's expansion in the 1920s. The Three Magnets opened in 1996 and has enjoyed growing success over the last 17 years.
