🍰 CAN YOU BAKE? OR JUST LOVE TO EAT CAKE? 🍪
On Thursday 24th September, we’re hosting a Bake Off to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support — and we want YOU to get involved! 💚
Whether you’re a baking pro, a complete beginner, or simply have an impressive appetite, there’s a place for you…
🧁 Want to bake?
Bake a cake, pastry, biscuits or any other sweet treat and bring it in to The Platform Pub before 12:30pm on Thursday 24th September. All ages and skill levels are welcome, and it’s completely free to enter!
🍰 More interested in eating?
Come along and sink your teeth into our delicious display! We’ll be asking for a small donation for each sweet treat you enjoy.
💚 Not got a sweet tooth?
No problem! Come along anyway, admire the delicious creations and pop any spare pennies you have into the donation pot. It’ll be a feast for the eyes, if not the stomach!
🏆 The winner will be announced around 1pm on the day and will receive a bar tab prize!
Let’s get baking, eating and — most importantly — raising some money for a brilliant cause! 💚
Terms & Conditions:
Please clearly label any allergens in your prepared treats. These may include, but are not limited to, nuts, gluten, gelatine, dairy and eggs.
For anyone choosing to eat the treats, please be aware that we cannot guarantee the absence of any allergens or cross-contamination.
All ages are welcome to enter. We encourage under-18s to drop off their baked goods earlier in the morning so they don’t miss out on their education. If a young winner is not present at the announcement, we can contact them afterwards.
If the winner is under 18, the bar tab prize can only be used for non-alcoholic drinks and/or snacks, and must be redeemed when accompanied by an adult.
