Coming to the end of two weeks promoting the distillery and Shetland in Asia. Been a great learning experience and it is definitely not going to be long before the distillery's blends are available in the region!

Day 1 at Food & Hospitality Asia 2026 in Singapore completed. Representing Shetland, Scotland and the UK

UHA26, Aurora and Smoorikin are all on the menu at the British High Commissioners residence this evening.

The Lerwick Distillery team spreading the word in Vietnam. After a successful whisky tasting at the Saigon Whisky Society earlier in the week, they now move onto the Food & Hospitality Asia expo in Singapore all of next week. 🇻🇳🥃🇸🇬

It's a little over 2 months until the largest of Shetland's Up Helly Aa festivals in Lerwick 🔥

The distillery has this week hosted Jordan Hunter and the Up Helly Aa collecting sheet. Up Helly Aa is fully funded by its participants and from contributions from local businesses.

Heidi & Bernd Brintup, founders of the Ida Distillery (est. 2019) visited the distillery today. The Ida Distillery is the only actively producing distillery in East Frisia , and secondly, it is "women-run," which is still true for too few distilleries. Heidi and Bernd were visitors off the Vasco Da Gama cruise ship today, the last of 127 cruise ships to visit Lerwick this year.
