an catered for especially those who need to eat "gluten-free" as Paul, the Landlord, is a Coeliac himself. The pub is very "dog friendly" and customers with dogs can expect a warm welcome by Jack and Maizie (the pub dogs)

With cosy inside spaces, outside decking area and beer garden, coupled with our friendly staff and great service customers, we are pleased that once customers find us they return ever frequently and become part of our "herd".

Hi All....please note that next Monday (27th February) The Elephant & Castle will be closed. This is to allow the new operators (Amy & Gwen) to familiarise themselves with the business before they open for business on Tuesday evening. When we took over the pub 6 years ago we pledged to provide a pub that you could be proud of and to be there for the wider community. Hopefully we have achieved this and want to truly THANK YOU for your support and hope that you provide the new business operators the same. As we open the doors for the last time tonight we look back and have some very fond memories and developed friendships that we hope will stand the test of time. Love you all.
