The Elephant & Castle is one of those "hidden gems" of a pub. Paint in your mind's eye a traditional village pub and you're nearly there! A warm a friendly welcome is assured and for those who love great ales and great food you will love the "Home of the Herd"! A "proper" village pub popular with locals and those from a little further afield. Diners with special dietary requirements can be more than catered for especially those who need to eat "gluten-free" as Paul, the Landlord, is a Coeliac himself. The pub is very "dog friendly" and customers with dogs can expect a warm welcome by Jack and Maizie (the pub dogs)

With cosy inside spaces, outside decking area and beer garden, coupled with our friendly staff and great service customers, we are pleased that once customers find us they return ever frequently and become part of our "herd".
