After closing The Grey Lady restaurant in February this year, there has been an overwhelming amount of welcomed feedback from lots of our amazing & loyal customers. This is for us to continue with our fantastic reputation in delivering outstanding fine dining food. So we have decided to offer our Grey Lady at home events. Which were a huge success over the last 2 years. These are a unique experience brought to you in your own home by former Head Chef & owner Phillip Gibson alongside his former restaurant manager as host. Phillip dedicated his career to the Grey Lady where his passion and attention to detail continued for over 15 years. So whether you are celebrating something special, spoiling yourself, or simply missing all that the Grey Lady had to offer, this will certainly be a special event to remember. With our previous Grey Lady At Home Events we successfully hosted a number of events last year and as the lighter, warmer evenings approach, we are reaching out to gauge if there would be potential interest if we were to begin our events again this year!!

What better way to remember The Grey Lady by, than owning a piece of its memories...

With everything available to purchse the hardest part will be what to choose.

We will be holding 2 open days in which we invite you to come in and take a look around.
These will be Tuesday 1st March, and Wednesday 2nd March. Our doors will be open between 10am and 4pm.

It is with both excitement and a huge amount of sadness that we write this to all our wonderful customers.
After 42 years we have sold the Grey Lady.
A wonderful couple are going to turn it into a home, and we wish them all the luck in the world and hope they make as many wonderful memories over the coming years as we have made in the last 42.
As I am sure you are all more than aware the last 2 years have been the hardest any of us have known in our lifetimes and age is not on our side. Hospitality seems to be going through a very difficult time and we are just not young enough to fight back.
So, the Grey Lady will close for good after lunch service on Sunday 27th February 2022, but we hope to have the chance to welcome you back one last time before then.
We as a family are really sorry that we will not share in any more of your special celebrations but thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your support over the years.
