If any of you are wondering about my abscence, after falling (sober) in Nottingham on 11th Feb I unfortunately
struck my face on a concrete planter, resulting in breaking a lot of my face. The only bone not broken was my chin. I’ve now had my reconstructive surgery at Queens Nottingham on Wednesday.
As expected, both cheeks and eye sockets have been titanium plated and jaw rebuilt and wired together to hold it in place. Liquid diet for six weeks initially
Hopefully when swelling reduces I can get to dentist to repair damaged teeth and then opticians to see how much my prescription has altered in my left eye.
Good to get surgery out of the way I can now start my recovery. Obviously I’m going to be off the scene for a while but could I ask that you all give Steve Moore a big Rock Night at the Winking Man welcome and your support on his Rock Night debut at Winkers. He brings a wealth of experience and hopefully he will mix things up to give you a great night.
Hopefully I will come up in next few months and get back to it. Missing you all

A little bad news comes
from our resident dj and friend Dodge Ferguson, he's had an accident which means he'll be out of action for quite a while.
With his permission I am after someone who knows the music and can work the last Friday each month, this is very sad as he loves the rock family and we hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Good news, the teeny tiny bit of snow we had overnight has practically melted away and its given 7 degrees the rest of the day with a bit of rain in the night, see you later for Rock night at the Winking man
