Place A.R.T was established by Dr Darren Price in 2011 to support communities, private developers, public authorities and third-sector organisations along with their architects to improving the quality of the built environment. A wealth of experience in working with different communities, an understanding of what makes them tick and how they can be brought into the design process in such a way that they not only make a valuable contribution but also feel included. Our independence is often key here, sometimes not being the developer or a part of their design team really helps and we enjoy turning potentially hostile audiences into happy and engaged ones. Independent professional advice, from Building For Life to Design Review as well as a range of bespoke design quality audits to assist from bid stages to appeal. Years of commissioning, reviewing and evaluating the quality of proposals underpins this offer and means that the advice we provide is well respected and carries weight.
