Every time you see Sinini Ngwenya it's very special, but his next performance at Den Engel Leek - Saturday 25th July from 2pm - will be extra, extra special!😍🎸🪘🎤

Sinini will be bringing four of his friends with him, for a unique performance not seen in Leek before, that you're going to love.

Expect Southern African rhythms and roots reggae.

Last orders will be called at 7.00 pm tonight.

As we don't show the football at Den Engel Leek, we've decided to let the staff have a night off so they can enjoy it too.

🚨Glassware sale🚨

Our youngest member of “staff” will be having a glassware sale in the Den Engel courtyard tomorrow (Sunday 5th) from around 1pm.

He will be selling lots of brand new Belgian b**r glassware that is no longer part of our range, along with some used ones which are a little bit rarer and harder to get hold of!

The Sunday Supplement is on in town, so come and support all the wonderful businesses.

From 2pm Den Engel Leek will have amazing blues music from Mat Walklate & Alex Haynes 🎙️ 🎵 🎸and the weather forecast is looking good ☀️

Let's introduce one of the finest b**rs in the world to those that might have not tried it yet.

Orval is a highly complex 6.2% b**r brewed by Trappist Cistercian monks, in one of only 8 Trappist breweries left in the world.

You will always be offered a range of new or aged b**rs, as the flavour of the b**r develops in the bottle while the yeast continues to eat the sugars. Younger b**rs will have a big fresh hops flavour, while aged b**rs develop a softer, drier, highly complex flavour with hints of caramel and fruit. You will also be offered Orval at fridge or cellar temprature as this will also change the flavour and experience of the b**r.

The sun ☀️ is out again in the Den Engel courtyard, and it’s a great time to enjoy a drink with family and friends.

We love the relaxed atmosphere we have created at Den Engel, which comes from both our staff and wonderful customers.

Despite this we feel the need to remind some that we are a relaxed social, family friendly bar, and not a venue where disrespectful or aggressive behaviour is allowed. We treat all our customers with a warm welcome and great respect, and this should be extended to all our staff and fellow customers.

Please enjoy yourselves and drink responsibly, especially in the sun 🌞 (and then you can stay and continue to enjoy yourselves🫡 ).
