Millennium Square is Leeds’ premier city centre outdoor public space and live entertainment venue.

Millennium Square is Leeds’ award winning city centre outdoor public space and live entertainment venue. Built as Leeds' flagship project to mark the year 2000, the space is now widely renowned as a multi-functional live event venue hosting a wide range of events and activities.

🐧 Their first time on the ice starts here.

The Penguin Club at Ice Cube is designed for children under 9 and is a great way for little skaters to build confidence on the ice with the support of our penguin skating aids.

After a few laps around the rink, there’s plenty more to discover at Ice Cube at Christmas, from festive attractions and twinkling lights to warming winter treats.

⏰ Penguin Club sessions run every weekend and throughout the school holidays from 19 November until 31 December.

✨ The wait is over… the full Light Night Leeds programme is now live.

This year, the Millennium Square Zone will come alive with large-scale projections, immersive installations, glowing owl holograms, soundscapes and interactive experiences from local, national and international artists.

🎄⛸️ It may only be September, but we're already looking ahead to the festive season.

Ice Cube at Christmas returns to Millennium Square, Victoria Gardens & Cookridge Street from 19 November to 31 December 2026, bringing back outdoor ice skating, festive food and drink stalls, winter bars and family attractions.
