CAN I BRING MY KIDS? Yes, Assembly Underground is a family-friendly venue with baby changing facilities. Want to bring in a pushchair? Head round to Alexander Street at the rear of the venue where you’ll find the accessible lift located just inside the brown speakeasy door.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED? We’re happy for pets to accompany owners for quick trips while they pick up some food. We request that only well-behaved dogs are brought in, and that human owners take full responsibility for their care while on site. We do reserve the right to ask you to take them outside if there are any issues.

DO YOU HAVE DISABLED ACCESS? Yes, via the accessible lift through the brown door to the speakeasy on Alexander Street to the rear of the venue. If you have any particular concerns, please contact us direct so we can best accommodate you.

DO I NEED TO BOOK? Up to you; we have a vast amount of seating so you can usually just walk in. If you need to guarantee your party can sit together, we do take reservations from Sunday - Thursday for groups of 10 or more - to request a booking, drop an email to [email protected] with your intended date, time, and party size. If you’re looking to plan an event for a vast number of people, please send us a message or email the address above, and we’ll see what we can put together for you.

CAN I HIRE THE VENUE? Yes; either as a whole or, for smaller groups, just The Staff Room speakeasy bar. We can offer catering and drinks packages to suit the occasion. You can submit an enquiry via [email protected] or send us a message via this page.

ARE YOUR VENDORS CERTIFIED HALAL? Currently, Falafel Guys and Jah Jyot, with most of our other operators offering halal options - just have a chat to them when you arrive for further info.

DO YOU PROVIDE GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS? Yes. The bar and most traders have GF options on the menu as standard; the remainder will provide you with allergen info on request and tailor food to your needs. Slap & Pickle can ‘veganise’ absolutely anything on the menu, Jah Jyot offers loads of Indian vegan options like aloo masala dosa, veg-based curries and samosas, there’s fresh tasty Middle Eastern stuff from Falafel Guys, and Bread & Butter BBQ’s veggie skewers and cassava fries are to die for. Holy Ramen’s always got a vegan noodle soup on the menu and Pizza Authority has your back, too.
