So, after 25 years of navigating the Leeds Club scene with iconic nights such at Vague, SpeedQueen, Up Yer Ronson & Soak....Suzy Mason & Tony Hannan have decided to join forces for a very special one off party on New Year’s Eve at Angelica & Crafthouse 2018...better late than never!

After working on the One Foot In the Rave Exhibition Suzy, Tony & Mikkel have been putting this event together to deliver a fully inclusive experience with sound, light, visuals, dancers, drag artists and some musical twists that will keep everyone dancing guaranteed all night long!

The Stella Superstar Club will be born on New Year’s Eve 2018 and we can't wait for you to experience a full-on galactic production, video and performance artists aka Vague and Speed Queen style! It’s going to be out of this world! So please feel free to dress up for the occasion!

DJs on the night will be the original SpeedQueen DJs, Miss Melodie, Alice Bailey & Simon G with the one and only Leeds Warehouse legend Ian Dewhirst spinning all things Disco in Crafthouse alongside Reeshy.

Good afternoon everyone!

Next Saturday 19th May we are very proud to have been asked to perform alongside Back to Basics in The Gowing Law Centenary Pavillion from 2pm, the East Stand level 2 area & the Bremner suite from 6pm with djs from Up Yer Ronson & Back to Basics supplying all the tunes that rocked our world from back in the day to now!

Djs on the day will Be Dave Beer, Paul Murray, Craig Cristoidz, Neil Metzner, Andy Ward Wallwork, Mark Alexander from Back to Basics & Up Yer Ronson.

It’s going to be an amazing day of top music, FA Cup final on all screens and a big Josh Warrington win for our great city at our beloved Elland Road..

A bit about one of Leeds adopted sons & chief breadcake Mr Brandon Block...Kaos & Up Yer Ronson would not have been the same without our good friend and my travel companion on many adventures across the world and we cant wait to welcome him back to Kaos on Saturday 28th April in an amazing tent on Millennium Square as part of the Leeds International Festival we are honoured on all counts.

You would have to travel far and wide to find a place where the name Brandon Block is not known. Brandon has carried a legendary status tag ever since being one the first residents on the Space terrace, Ibiza. His residency alongside Alex P was arguably one of the initial driving forces behind the clubs worldwide notoriety as one of the best places to party.

Brandon’s success and infectious personality lead to a stream of fantastic opportunities across the entire music industry. The highlights of this include, hosting one of the highest rated radios shows on Kiss FM (+ spin off compilations albums!); His own show on MTV, Blocko’s Bits on Rature TV and a number 3 charting hit under his Blockster moniker with ‘You should be Dancin’. Brandon has also made numerous other TV appearances including Celebrity Fear Factor and Celebrity Extreme Makeover, and more recently Celebrity Big Brother.

Brandon is infamous for his party spirit but in equal measure his ability to capture that spirit in his DJ sets. Though Brandon has become more discerning over the years, the raw energy his DJ sets bring to a dance-floor remains. Musically Brandon has a wealth of experience and is a staunch champion of the funkier end of house. His continued success means Brandon Block is still one of the UK’s most sought after DJ’s with his diary generally full up to 6 months in advance!

In addition to his DJ work Brandon has launched his own specialist international travel DJ bag, Brandon and has recently co-produced a record (Don’t You Feel Like Love) with one of the UK’s hottest house music acts, The Hoxton Whores. Add this all together and it is easy to see why Brandon Block is a true celebrated dance music icon and has clearly no plans to rest on his laurels.

Since 1996 since he enetered the charter nightgale Clinic In Lisson Grove, For three weeks to detox he has neveooked back although some tough times followed he never e went back to his old behaviour.

In 2010 he felt the urge to help people with his knowledge of recovery and his infamy which put to good use was a big contributing factor in his ablitly to empathise and help people.

The next 7years saw him move from working alongside the criminal justice system and court orders for prolific offenders With Mental Health, drug and Alcohol addiction, to working with people who have Multiple Complex needs in an outreach capacity all the wanting to improve peoples lives.

Which spurred to him to search for new way seeing a gap in the treatment system.

Met with Olly and Annette and from there was born Get Well together.

What an amazing life! Brandon was introduced by his good friend Tony Hannan making his debut at Kaos and resident at Up Yer Ronson ( he came up with the name with Tony after an eventful Kaos night!)

Brandon will be spinning a classic set at Kaos 30th anniversary concert alongside Classical Uproar / Together / Hardcore Uproar / Mark Alexander & Marshall on Saturday 28th April in the Speigeltent on Millennium Square Leeds,

A bit about Marshall - One of the most influential house Music Dj’s in Leeds 1988 - current day...

Marshall started DJing back in 1989, inspired by the likes of Graeme Park and Mick Pickering at the Hacienda, and the amazing new music he was hearing around that time. He played some of the very early nights in Leeds before starting his first residency at the legendary Warehouse club. Here he played with DJ Ease and Boy Wonder (Nightmares on Wax) taking the last two hours to a packed club every week. This is where he learnt his craft as a DJ.

Joy then Kaos recognised his unique quality style and shortly afterwards he was guesting at some of the biggest club nights in the country, going onto play at the club that started it all for him; The Hacienda. Playing at the club’s 11th birthday alongside Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Tony Humphries, Sasha, and of course Graeme and Mike is a really special memory for Marshall. He went on to play at the Hacienda many more times over the years.

By the early 90s he had a new residency at Up Yer Ronson. Ronson went on to be one of the biggest club nights in UK with a world renowned reputation , with people coming from all over the UK to party in Leeds on a Friday night, along with the spectacular Soak nights at the Corn Exchange.

Up Yer Ronson also took Marshall to Ibiza to play at Amnesia, Es Paradis & the legendary Space!

He continued to play around the UK throughout the 90s, releasing three songs with the Up Yer Ronson Band, enjoying success in the UK national charts with hit singles Lost In Love, Are you gonna be there & I will be released signed to Polydor Records.

We can’t wait to welcome Marshall back to where it all began from the Warehouse to Kaos in an amazing tent in Millennium Square on Saturday 28th April...it’s going to be some night!
