⚡ One last post from us - one last update from us ⚡

We are excited to let you know that Super Friendz have taken on the lease of CLAY's venue from August.

We can gratefully say that this means that the studio holders currently occupying the space will be able to keep their studio spaces for the foreseeable future and that Super Friendz will continue to run the event space as a flexible, welcoming space for all to use.
As we were of course our own entity, and are sadly closing our doors the venue will be renamed ‘Regent Street Studios’ in the interim.

A big Thanks to Super Friendz and the studio holders for their help in making this happen, and in keeping some of the spirit of CLAY alive through them. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for the space and all involved.

And once again a huge thank you to everyone who has made CLAY the magic that it was for the many many years - it will continue to live on in a lot of memories forever.

Do you like DIY? Do you love CLAY? - We need your help.
We need to dismantle and get rid of everything we have and for that we need as many helpers as possible.
So we do what we do best - throwing parties, 'DIY Parties':
We provide the tasks, snacks, drinks and music - You bring a pair of helping hands and tools (if you have any).

Wether a few hours or all of the days, any extra help and drills are appreciated.
We start in the morning and go until our and the drill's batteries run out.

Kasra Jalilipour
Cool Dad is the best daddy in the world. He is a Lover, a fighter, a legend, a myth and a master of all trades, e.g. Fi***ng. His one problem in life, besides being too sexy to handle, is that he is hugely underestimated by the general public.

Strange Boy (cabaret character of artist Tom Cassani)
Strange Boy has spent many years learning how to do very strange things very well. Strange Boy combines prestidigitation, body horror, magic and contemporary sideshow to conjure up almost impossible images and illusions of the surreal world he finds himself in most days.

Glitterbomb Dancers
A cabaret dance troupe, making short, spectacular dance numbers, prancing their way around Yorkshire and the North. We combine high quality dance with pop, spandex and camp energy.

BOLERO- One Last Drink
A re-imagining of the 1960 ballet for Ravel’s Bolero. This version of Bolero has been performed many times over the past 10 years. It was performed at the first ever event at CLAY and will be retired at the final event. Saying farewell to an era.

One last toast, One last celebration, One last drink.

✨ We are so grateful for people sharing their experiences of working with us and how CLAY has impacted their practice. ✨

A lot of people saying they wouldn't be an artist today without the vital space we provide to make and experience experimental work.

The Hilarious Hannah Ballou bring us SHHH as part of the Slip & Score Double Bill with Lewys Holt

🤫 SHHH is the mother of all live art comedy, merging bedtime with showtime. She has to get the baby to sleep in time for the performance, but if not...the show must go on.
Thats right... theres a baby onstage but don't be fooled- this is a show for adults
