Events at The George This is mainly to keep you all informed of all the different events on at The George. There are also events on in the main bar; these will also be shown.

Gigs downstairs in the bar on the lower floor known as Ward 13 - this will show all nights run by the pub management and any events asked to be hosted by other outside promoters/bookers/charities. When downstairs is booked for a private party, this date will be shown just as PRIVATE BOOKING. (This way if you are looking around for a venue for a particular night, you will know if we are available o

Just to let you know I will be getting tickets printed and distributed to Crash and Jumbo records this weekend for the Attila the Stockbroker/Barnstormer/Blyth Power gig for the 7th May.

The night was called “**** Valentine’s, Love Elvis” ha ha … really just a night at the George on Sunday 13th February 2011, dedicated to the wonder of Elvis Presley. We started off with Little Elvis, followed by Nekkid, then Yorkshire Elvis with some Elvis based karaoke inbetween. -1 {

This guy took part in the Interactive Music Quiz last night. In a moment of drunkeness, he managed to win our spot prize round for his operatic version of Bohemian Rhapsody. He followed his beatboxing buddy to do a turn at the end of the night. ...... he's also coming back to do our Open Stage night next Thursday....
