Autumnā€™s creeping in, so the big cosy mugs are back in business ā˜•ļøšŸ‚

Lattes, hot chocolates, chai and plenty more to warm you up when itā€™s looking a bit grim outside.

Grab a coffee and get comfy, or make a meal of it with a breakfast butty or Sunday lunch while youā€™re here.

Not saying weā€™re happy to see the back of summer, but this does soften the blow.

Brianā€™s showing off one of the Wapentake favourites, the Breakfast Puds šŸ³

Homemade Yorkshire puddings stuffed with Hendoā€™s baked beans, sliced Cumberland sausage, smoky bacon and fried eggs, then finished with a good splash of Hendersonā€™s on top.

If you like a big breakfast, this oneā€™s worth getting stuck into.

Fresh bagels, made to order every day in the Wapentake kitchen šŸ„Æ

Thereā€™s a lot to be said for a bloody good bagel. Ours are baked locally by Bondgate Bakery over in Otley, before we slice, toast and fill them fresh in the kitchen.

šŸ„“ The Classic

Griddled smoky bacon with cracked black pepper cream cheese and iceberg lettuce.

šŸ„Æ The Reuben

Thick-cut pastrami piled up with sauerkraut, bread & butter pickles, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, iceberg and crispy shallots.

šŸŸ Smoked Salmon

Scottish smoked salmon with cracked black pepper, cream cheese, baby spinach and a good squeeze of lemon.

Three very solid lunch options, if we do say so ourselves.

Chef Brianā€™s whipped up a classic Eggs Benedict šŸ³

A toasted English muffin layered with spinach, smoked back bacon from a Yorkshire Dales farm and two poached eggs, then covered in hollandaise and finished with a bit of Brianā€™s local garnish.

Proper ingredients, plenty on the plate and made fresh in the Wapentake kitchen on Kirkgate.

If you want a bloody lovely breakfast, this is a good place to start.

Bank Holiday Sunday, sorted šŸ»

Richā€™s pick is the pork roast, and heā€™s not messing about. Roasties AND mash, pork crackling, bubble & squeak, a big Yorkie, cabbage, carrots, parsnips and plenty of gravy.

Get a pint of Pulleken on the side and youā€™re laughing.

Weā€™ll be serving Sunday roasts from 12pm this Bank Holiday Sunday, the last one of the year. Come hungry.

The Yorkshire pudding burger.

Beef chuck patty, cheddar and smoked bacon, all served in a homemade Yorkshire pudding with potato wedges and a hot gravy pour.

Itā€™s not your average burger. Go on, give it a go.
