14th Tee - before ➡️ after 💦

After one of the driest summers we’ve experienced, our 14th tee had really struggled, largely due to limited irrigation coverage.

Over the last few weeks, the team have installed new pipework, valves and sprinklers, significantly improving the amount and coverage of water we can get onto the tee.

The difference in just a couple of weeks has been fantastic. 👏

The tee has now also been overseeded and topdressed to help strengthen the surface and continue its recovery.

A great example of how investing in our irrigation system is already making a real difference and helping us prepare for longer, drier periods in the future. 💧🌱

We’ll be serving two Sunday Lunches every month, starting on 6th & 20th September.

Great food, generous portions and fantastic value – there really is nowhere better in the area for a traditional Sunday Lunch.

Greens Renovations 2026 ⛳️🌱

Lots of great and vital work by the team over the last few days as we carry out our annual greens renovations.

Hopefully just a small amount of short-term disruption to help maintain and improve the health and quality of our greens for the long term.

Over the last few days, the team have:

• Scarified the greens to remove excess thatch
• Cleared and blown the surfaces
• Cut the greens
• Seeded
• Fertilised
• Topdressed
• Cut again ready for the weekend

We’ll aim to lightly topdress again next week to help fill in any remaining lines.
