Did you know that Fetcham Park was designed by one of the leading architects of his age?

Built in 1705, the house was designed by William Talman, a pupil of Sir Christopher Wren, and an architect whose principal work is recognised to be Chatsworth House, considered to be the first baroque private house in Britain. Talman was also responsible for some of England’s grandest country-house architecture.

More than three centuries later, Fetcham Park’s elegant Queen Anne character still shines through - making Heritage Open Day the perfect opportunity to step inside and take a closer look.

At Fetcham Park, we believe that bringing people together creates lasting impact.

It was a privilege to host the celebration, recognising the incredible progress made since the Fund's launch and the partnerships that are making a real difference across our local community.

The evening brought together grant recipients, business ambassadors and supporters to celebrate the power of collaboration, local generosity and shared purpose. It was also a fitting opportunity to recognise the outstanding contribution of Chair Alan Horden with a well-deserved award of commendation.
