Say hello to the Air2G2 ⛳️

Our head greenkeeper has been using the Air2G2 today on the course. It uses three probes to laterally inject pressurised air up to 12-inches beneath the surface of the soil, to fracture the compacted layers that form as a result of foot traffic, mechanical traffic and nature’s daily wear and tear!

Using this on the course will:

Improve water drainage ☑️
Improve soil compaction ☑️
Encourage deeper root growth ☑️

During the summer this year, The Leatherhead Club invested over £350,000 in brand-new machinery to provide support for our ever-expanding experienced Green Keepers Team. This new machinery will assist the Green Keepers in developing and maintaining our fantastic golf course over the next few years and beyond! Welcome To The Leatherhead Club. An Old Club, With A New Beginning.

We are excited to announce that The Club has new ownership. These successful local business people, don't see themselves as owners but more custodians of this historic property. Their ambitions are not just to see this wonderful club restored back to its former glory, but to develop it further so it can sit alongside some of the best clubs in the area, with facilities to match!

We are introducing a new vision. A relaxed, understated country chic ambience that will move away from a traditional golf club atmosphere, while still keeping the core values that have made golf such an iconic sporting game.

From the very start of this journey, we're putting our members, old and new, at the heart of everything we do. So we encourage you to follow, share and come on this adventure with us.

We are not a golf club for members. We're a members club for golf. The Leatherhead Club, 120 Years In The Making!

In 1903 The Leatherhead Club was founded. Almost 120 years on we are truly delighted to welcome our new visionary owners Peter, James & Scott.

Our club has welcomed professionals and guests from all over the world due to its prime position in Surrey and heritage.

It is now that the most exciting chapter begins, for members past present and future.
