Proud to announce that Jack and Destiny completed the skydive raising a fantastic amount of money for the charity Mind in memory of their uncle Colin who’s 10 year anniversary is fast approaching. Not only am I extremely proud as their Mum I am so happy they both had an enjoyable experience. Well done both of you, you’ve done Uncle Colin proud and all of your family and friends. Thank you to all that have supported them ❤️❤️

Thursday 20th August we will be closed

Jack and Destiny will be completing the Uks highest Skydive for Mind.
We will all be making the trip to support them therefore we will be closing for the whole day

This year marks the 10 year anniversary of the heartbreaking loss of our uncle Colin (CR5). As a family we raise as much awareness and money as possible for the charity Mind in his memory however this year we want to go that extra mile so to speak! To face such a challenge doesn’t even scratch the surface of what people encounter with suicidal thoughts. This is why we’ve decided to do a skydive on August 20th in Brigg.
We have both been affected by mental health issues and with help and support we’ve got through our darkest days however devastatingly Colin didn’t speak out and took his own life along with many others on a daily basis. If we could save a life with money raised it’s worth the sacrifice we are making so please help us to achieve this by cash donations or by following the link to our just giving page

As well as Judy’s plaque the money raised was used for a wreath to accompany on her journey today.

Today Andrew has put in pride place the memorial plaque for his late wife Judy above where she always sat with Andrew and their dog Jetta here at Travellers Rest - Brookhouse

We want to thank everyone for their kind donations towards not only this but the wreath.

Preparations have taken place all year for what’s going to be an epic day for Travfest. Looking at the weather it’s going to be a warm one so don’t forget your suncream and hats,

Don’t forget to bring a chair, bench,blankets,ect to rest those dancing shoes.

All ci******es must be extinguished safely in the sand buckets provided

Car parking is limited due to the health and safety risks and promotion of drink drive awareness.

We do not accept antisocial behaviour

We ask that you only purchase both non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages from our inside bar and the outdoor CR5 bar.

This year we do have security on the gate and patrolling the field, whom have the rights to search. Any beverages found will be seized, if refused you will be asked to leave.
Please note we do operate a zero drug policy therefore there will be consequences for anyone found taking them or supplying them
