Built c.1640 this traditional pub has remained in the same family for over 150 years. Beautiful thatched building with flagstone floors and unusual as it has no bar. You will find a warm welcome, a good selection of real ales, farmhouse cider and craft beers. There is a large car park, beer garden, skittle alley, pool table and juke box. Regular live music events, quiz nights, car meets and visiting food trucks at events and weekends.

Classic Cars this Tuesday! It’s our last evening meet of the year. Join us from 5pm to view some gorgeous classics and partake in loaded fries from Soul Fries UK. 🚗🍟

Free event, no registration required, just turn up!

Please try to walk to the pub if you are able so we can have more room for the classics to park. There is also a free public car park near St. Mary’s church, just a short walk from the pub.

⏱️ Next month, Tuesday 20th October - 3rd Tuesday of month - Classic Cars moves to lunchtime for the winter. Join us from 12-2pm!

Gorgeous Malaysian and South East Asian inspired curries with homemade roti from The Roti-Shack, 5-8pm 🫓🍛…AND don’t forget to shop with Elderflower FOOD Cooperative - local eggs & veg, 5-7pm🛒.

🎲 SUNDAY - BOARD GAME NIGHT RETURNS! We will have a variety of games available or you can bring your own. Bring friends or come and meet new ‘meeples’! The dice start rolling at 4pm. Lots going on this Wednesday!

Firstly, we are feeling chuffed because Trudgeon's Trad Jazz Troubadours has released an album that they recorded live the last time they were at Eli’s 🥰. See them again this Wednesday, from 6pm! New Orleans jazz, early swing & trad jazz from the 1920s to 1940s 🎺🎶.

Wednesday is also WEDNESDAY WHEELS! Bring all your wheels. Sports & Performance Cars - Motorbikes - Tractors - Vintage & Classic Vehicles…it’s going to be wheely fun!! 😁 Free event, no registration required- just turn up! 5pm.

Good news! Band is setting up and we are hoping for the best! Keeping an eye on the weather and if we’ve got a good crowd going, might start early to catch the best weather.

Bad news….our food truck has broken down and won’t be joining today. 😢 So have lunch before you come and we’ve got plenty of crisps and chocolates to keep you all snacked up!

We love a BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND, and we can’t wait to party during BAD Edukation’s final gig! They will be bringing special guests with them and it’s guaranteed to be a great performance.

The local Prostate Cancer Support Group will be at Eli’s collecting for the charity. It is a charity close to the heart of lead singer, Geoff, please give generously if you can. 🪙👛🙏

🍟🍺 Food on SUNDAY from FryHaus - bringing Amsterdam flavour to the UK. Food from 2pm & music at 3pm!
