Despite several strongly-worded emails to FIFA asking them to reschedule, it looks like there'll be a clash between tomorrow's semi-final and our weekly open mic ran by David Frederick, so we've taken the unfortunate decision to cancel tomorrow's session. England vs Argentina will be broadcast in the downstairs area of the pub, and the Open Mic will return the following week

Join local Historian of the Tyldesley family, Anne Charlesworth for a free talk, Tuesday 9th June:

The talk traces the trials and tribulations of five generations of the Myerscough branch of the Tyldesley family. From the civil wars through to the last Jacobite rebellion, this Catholic family were unwavering in their support of the Stuart dynasty and risked everything for the cause.
