Happy Halloween -

We’ve got Live music in the bar from 9pm. Connor Fyfe is on, live singer in the main bar

Plus Dunt of the Dead tonight.

Up the back it’s Double Dunt with Dunt of the Dead from 8pm. Halloween room, spooky vibes, the usual Double Dunt energy.

Scottish Cup semi-final weekend as well, so the games are on the screens.

Dress up if you want, or just come as you are.

Not us - clearing up some confusion

We’ve seen the post going around about The Clydesdale Bar closing for a refurb and had a lot of customers thinking it’s us.
This is a different Clydesdale in Overtown- and we wish them all the best.
That’s not the Clydesdale Inn in Lanark.

Business at usual at the Clydesdale Inn Lanark - we’re open right through - no closure.

Well the results speak for themselves, Tennent’s Stout was our best-selling pint last week.

It outsold Guinness EIGHT to ONE.

Event staff required – Immediate Start through Hogmanay and beyond

We’re looking for bartenders, floor staff and SIA-badged security for weekend and event work.

This is temporary event work, but it may lead to a permanent role for the right people. Weekends and Core dates include Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, Hogmanay and the bigger nights we already have lined up through the rest of the year and into 2027. We need people who can work a fast-paced bar or door and who are available for outlined dates.

You’ll need basic experience, a professional approach, and the ability to graft when it’s busy. Over 18 only Bubbly is great but Reliable is essential.

Mum, I’m famous

The Clydesdale was in a magazine yesterday.
Models, photographers and classic cars. The assembly room and the backyard were used for
a photoshoot for the day. We’ll post the mag pics once they’ve been published.

Then last night the weather was rotten and the place was still packed.
