A Difficult Goodbye
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of both The Wine Shop and Next Door Café & Wine Bar.
This has been one of the most painful decisions we’ve ever had to make. Like so many small independent businesses, we’ve been deeply affected by the current financial climate, and despite our best efforts, the challenges have simply become too great to overcome. And as much as it breaks my heart this was just inevitable.
We want to say a huge thank you to our incredible team – the people who poured their hearts into every coffee, every glass of wine, and every warm welcome. They became more than just staff – they became family, and we are endlessly proud of the care, passion, and community they helped us build.
We love you guys forever.
To our loyal customers, friends, and supporters – thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you came for a morning coffee, a slice of pizza, a bottle of wine, or a night of laughter and music – you made it all worthwhile. You gave life to these spaces, and we are truly grateful.
This is the end of our story as a business owners in this beautiful town, the end of this chapter which we will cherish in our hearts forever.
We wish there would be different ending to this story, but for now “thanks for popping in”!
