DID YOU KNOW?

There’s an old route through the hills known as the Minister’s Path.

Long before travelling around the Angus Glens was as straightforward as it is today, the minister serving Glen Prosen would make the journey over the hills to Clova to preach at the Kirk.

The route crossed the high ground between the two glens — a very different commute from the one most of us are used to today!

It’s another reminder of just how connected these glens have been for generations, with old paths across the hills once playing an important part in everyday life.

Today, those hills form part of the incredible landscape surrounding Glen Clova Estate.

Next time you look up towards the hills, just imagine making that journey on foot to get to work.

We’re looking for a local Front of House team member to join us over the winter season.

If you’re looking for some extra hours, enjoy meeting people and fancy working somewhere a little different, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be working across our bar and restaurant, looking after guests from near and far and becoming part of our friendly team here in the Glen.

Experience is always welcome, but it’s not essential — we’re more interested in finding the right person with a good attitude who’s happy to get stuck in.
