Great news this week, all we hear in this current climate is businesses collapsing. Well here is a great friend of mine Jeff Shand getting the keys for his premises and the start of his new venture Rogue Engineering Ltd. They’re based in Aberdeen. So what have I been doing lately you may ask? Well a fellow CAD enthusiast put me onto a fantastic page of plans for little steam engined models. This was my first go at one of the plans.... meet the wee “Cracker” she’s a model of a steam loco with oscillating steam engine and great fun to do. I know I’ve been quiet recently, but as everyone is aware Covid is taking it’s toll across the globe. A good friend of mine Jeff Shand has lost his job due to downturn in work load at his place of employment, and has taken the massive step to go out on his own and start up his own company Rogue Engineering. So he approached me to see if I would create a 3D model of his logo to be machined as a demonstration of his skills to show future clients. This is a work in progress so I’ll post the finished model as soon as it’s been completed.
