Quietly resting at the foot of Wildboar Fell beneath infinite skies over looking iconic countryside is The Burton. Our newly restored traditional Gypsy Showmans wagon is everything you would desire from self contained accommodation. The perfect retreat for 2 to relax and unwind in the uniquely designed show

manship wagon comprising of hand crafted double bed, wet room, bespoke kitchenette dinner and wood burning stove with as many logs as you desire whilst you snugly while away the hours. Time could be spent on the raised decking ideal viewing platform to observe the diverse and plentiful wildlife or alternatively gazing at the constellations while snuggled around the dancing flames of the fire pit listening to the rampaging badgers and snuffling hedgehogs. The showmans wagon is only a gentle meander across a couple of fields to the local pub and a stones throw from the local amenities of Ravenstonedale and Kirkby Stephen.
