Good evening folks I’m looking to take over the hotel next week and we are currently looking for staff

Duty manager / supervisor must have experience and also an English personal license . This is a live in position and will take to do with the day to day running of the hotel

Sadly this Sunday 8th August will be the end of our last trading week. The keys are getting handed back to Punch Taverns who have bigger plans that we can't be involved with. If anyone locally wants to run the pub as a B&B there is a large amount of healthy hotel bookings coming in over the next few weeks. If so please get in touch [email protected] with your telephone number. Bookings start back up form the 16th and there are a couple of housekeepers to help do the room changes.

from Monday 19 July 2021.

😷We advise that you wear your Face masks* when not seated especially when moving around The indoors of our Venues. *We appreciate there are exemptions.

🍽🍺 please remain seated when eating and drinking at our tables inside.

✅you can now order and pay at the bar and we will bring your drinks and food to you.

😷Team members will continue to wear their masks

📱We will still encourage you to track and trace upon entry to venues using the NHS QR code.

🧴Please use hand sanitiser when entering the building.

🧼🤚🏻 Wash your hands frequently

💳card payments preferred

We wanted to confirm everything in one post that gives clarity on the way we will operate as a company. Most importantly we want to assure all our guests and customers , that you can enjoy your stay / visit with us in a continued safe and welcoming environment. We also want to ensure the safety of our team.

We are on the look out for MORE motivated, enthusiastic hard working team players. We need our team to grow and Brian our new manager is wanting to speak to you if you're interested in the following positions.

Breakfast Chef - 5 days a week including weekends, 7.30 till 12pm (sometimes through lunch helping out) Permanent position no experience needed as training can be provided £10 per hour including holidays and pension.

FOH Staff - Full and Part time required. Full time 30-40 hours and part time 15-20 hours. Must be able to work the bar. Shifts include evening, weekends and some breakfast service shifts. Progression possible salary from £9.50 per hour.

Part Time Waiting On Staff - ideal for under 18, just waiting on tables, serving customers and helping clear and reset the pub. Hours to suit from £7 ph

Sorry to disappoint all our loyal customers, but time has defeated us. We are unable to open as planned at the Black Bull, Kirkby Stephen tonight or on Monday 17th. We WILL REOPEN the pub and restaurant on Thursday the 20th May at 12 noon. Bookings are now being taken to ensure you get a table on Thursday. We look forward to welcoming you all back at The Bull.
