🎸So we are looking forward to playing Sportsman this Saturday nite, but saddened at the same time.

🎤We have all played or watched some greats bands at this live music venue over the years and it would be great to see everyone, to give it a good send off before the doors finally close. 🎬

🤘🔥🤘THE FAT SPANIELS TO BID FAREWELL TO HULL'S LEGENDARY SPORTSMAN BAR🤘🔥🤘
Yes you read it correctly. As announced earlier in the week Hull's legendary live music venue The Sportsman will close on Sunday 4th December & The Fat Spaniels will be on stage in the afternoon at 3pm.
The Fat Spaniels will hit the stage & call last orders on the venues final day. The band has many great memories of the venue & it is an absolute pleasure to be asked to mark the venues farewell.

To all of our customers…

It comes with a heavy heart, as most of you know, we are sorry to tell you all that The Sportsman will soon be closing its doors 😭times are tough and it hasn’t at all been an easy decision! We’ve given up the lease and the landlords have decided to sell.

The last day of opening will be Sunday 4th December in which we hope you’ll all join us in celebrating the last day of the old Sportsman.

No one knows as yet what is happening in the future with the pub but I’m sure the new owners will have great plans.

Thank you all for your custom over the years. We will miss you all.
