BOOKINGS & EVENTS MANAGER WANTED
Help Shape The Next Chapter of Service Station
Next year marks our 10th year in Hull city centre, and as we continue pushing further towards becoming a major grassroots music and entertainment venue, we’re looking for the right person to help us grow and develop what we offer.
We want somebody ambitious, connected, creative and driven to help bring fresh energy, new audiences and exciting events into the venue.
From live bands and DJs to comedians, tribute acts, alternative events and completely new ideas — we’re looking for someone who can help build nights that stand out.
This is not a standard “clock in, clock out” role.
We want someone with enthusiasm, contacts, ideas and the motivation to make things happen.
What we’re looking for:
* Strong connections in music, entertainment or events
* Somebody proactive who spots opportunities
* Fresh ideas and new concepts
* Confidence dealing with artists, agents and promoters
* Passion for live entertainment and grassroots music
* Self-motivation and genuine drive to grow nights and audiences
The role could include:
* Booking bands, DJs, comedians and performers
* Creating themed nights and one-off events
* Working with promoters and touring acts
* Helping grow ticketed events
* Developing regular nights with loyal followings
* Bringing new entertainment ideas into Hull
Pay / Structure
We’re flexible and open to discussion.
Possible arrangements could include:
* Commission per booking
* Performance bonuses
* Ticket sale percentages
* Profit share on successful events
* Or a mixture of the above

About us
Service Station has spent nearly a decade building a reputation as an independent venue supporting live music, local artists, alternative events and good nights out.
As we move into our tenth year, we’re investing more into live entertainment and grassroots music, with plans to continue growing the venue, improving the experience and expanding the variety of events we host.
We’re looking for somebody who wants to be part of that journey.
