It is with great sadness that I have to inform you all that last night was my last night trading at The Bear & Blacksmith
With continued price increases in all aspects of the hospitality industry meaning it is increasingly difficult to maintain our ultra local ethos without having to pass on these extra ever increasing cost to you my loyal customers
Unfortunately in this time of major uncertainty throughout the country and with a recent health scare for myself it is no longer viable for me to keep The Bear open, this breaks me as I have put my heart and soul into this place for the last six years and love it as I love you all,
I would like to thank my staff who have been extremely supportive and understanding
I please ask that those who have nothing nice to say please keep your opinions to yourself, respect me and my staff at these hard times
To you my locals and loyal customers, thank you for helping me make the bear what it was

I will never forget you all
