Hi Everyone. As the changing of management at the pub has been delayed by a day, the broadband will be going down at some point. This will mean that the till and card machine may stop working. Please bring cash as a back up in case this happens

Tonight we’re saying thank you to Bryan who has been at the heart of this place for 22 years.

A pub is just four walls, but he made it so much more than that. He created a place where people could come together, share stories, celebrate the good times, and support each other through the tough ones.

He has turned the pub into a real community, and that’s something not many people can say they’ve done.

On behalf of everyone here, thank you for the memories, the laughs, and everything you’ve put into this place over the years.

You’ll always be a big part of the Auld Hoose’s story, and we would all like to see you and Robert back on the other side of the bar.

So let’s raise a glass — to 22 great years, and to whatever comes next.

Good evening all Auld Hoose Bingo lovers! We are having a special bingo on Friday 27th February to celebrate the success of the bingo over the past 3 years and allow the current management to have “one last night” of the AH Bingo whilst they are still here. As always, 7:30pm eyes down. We look forward to seeing all our loyal bingo friends as well as anyone who would like to come along and attend that have never been before! Great prize money I bet! And raffle prizes you really want 🙂. See you then.

What a great night it was last night for the Christmas Bingo in the Auld Hoose. We gave away £564 in prizes as well as 6 litres of spirits and prosecco. Thank you to all for attending and your kind donations. Also let’s celebrate Maria for her bingo calling and hard work, Barry for his dirty jokes and cash counting, Annie for helping source a lot of the raffle prizes, Artur for sourcing the bottles for this bingo and Brian for the venue and his donation of a prize each bingo. Thanks also to the others that help out behind the scenes. We have raised well over £1000 this year for Strathcarron Hospice and MS. Final bingo of the year is 17th December - come down for some Festive fun! And don’t forget - we still have the raffle for Strathcarron Hospice for a Barbour jacket of your choice of size, colour and s*x as first prize with other prizes to be won. This will be drawn on 20th December - £1 a ticket!

Thank you again for all those who attend and support the pub and the charities - after all, it’s a great wee night!!
