Joe and Betty Cairns purchased the Goldberry in 1958, it was so they could settle back in Kilmarnock, after Joe's career as a Chief Flight Engineer in the Airline Industry. Joe and Betty's daughter, also called Betty, has worked in the Goldberry since being a teenager. Betty took control of The Goldberry, along with her husband Eric Brown in the late 1980's after both Joe and Betty Cairns had pass

ed away. The Goldberry has seen many changes, spanning decades, now being run by Betty Brown and her Family. We aim to publish some great photos on here, archiving all the years that the Family have owned The Goldberry Arms.

After last year’s incredible success, Santa BELIEVE returns to The Goldberry for another truly magical Christmas experience!

Step into a world of festive wonder and create memories your family will cherish forever. From the moment your child receives their very own personalised letter from Santa, delivered all the way from the North Pole, the magic begins. Their special invitation to come and dine with Santa himself will have them counting down the days until this unforgettable event.

As you arrive at The Goldberry, you’ll be welcomed into a beautifully festive setting filled with the enchanting sounds of Santa’s workshop. Little ones can enjoy a delicious hot chocolate topped with marshmallows, while the grown-ups can relax with a warming glass of mulled wine and soak up the magical atmosphere.

Once everyone is settled, you’ll be seated for a delicious festive lunch. Throughout the event, children will be invited individually, along with their chosen family members, to meet Santa in person. This special one-to-one experience gives every child the chance to chat with Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and enjoy a magical moment they’ll never forget.

And of course, no visit to Santa would be complete without a gift! Every child will receive a special present brought all the way from Lapland by Santa himself. 🎁

This isn’t just a meal with Santa – it’s a magical festive experience designed to bring the wonder, excitement and joy of Christmas to life for the whole family.
