HAPPY NEW YEAR … OUR BEST WISHES TO YOU ALL FOR 2025 🎉🥳🎊

As we say farewell to 2024, we want to say a massive thank you to everyone for the support & encouragement shown to us since we set out to create ‘The Cork & Keg’ … your kindness since we opened only recently has been phenomenal to say the least … thank you again.

Our journey has had so much support & help from local businesses & tradespersons. Please bear with us as we publicly thank those involved … in no particular order -

Shaun Clarke & his team at JBC Joiners & Builders ;

Ali Diamond & his colleague Glen Neilson for their plumbing & heating expertise & for their amazing work in our bathrooms ;

Hi Folks

Michelle & I appreciate it’s Christmas Day, but please indulge us …

We would like to extend an enormous thankyou to everyone who joined us between Saturday, when we opened, & Christmas Eve … Michelle & I are, again, humbled by the amazing response we have received & all the positive comments … we’re thrilled you all love ‘The Cork & Keg’ … & the fact that we required to order additional kegs of the fantastic brews from our friends at Two Towns Down Brewing, twice since Saturday, as well as additional wines from our new supplier over the weekend, speaks volumes ! I guess we’re doing something right !!

On that, we have a number of wines from a previous supplier which we will be selling as our ‘bin ends’ over the next few days, so please come in & grab a bargain … we’re open tomorrow, Boxing Day, from 2.30pm ‘til ‘Whenever O’Clock’ & will also post our hours thereafter as soon as possible …

Finally, thank you Kristhessa for choosing us to host your Christmas Eve birthday … we hope everyone had a great night & we look forward to seeing you all soon … minus Stevie’s very disturbing Christmas jumper !!
