🍕 Saturday 30th May at the Brewery 🍻

will be firing up their traditional Neapolitan pizzas at the Tap Room this Saturday as the Food & Ale Trail rolls back into the brewery.

The Food and Ale trail may finish here… but anyone can start their afternoon at the brewery.

We’re open from 3pm–9pm, pouring Hobsons beers alongside proper wood-fired pizza. Grab a pint, grab a slice, and let the world go by for a few hours.

PART 2...

The second leg of the Food & Ale Trail route takes you winding your way down towards Neen Sollars… more countryside, more wildlife, We had another Zephyr to keep the legs moving.

And waiting for you at the next stop? A pint and a curry from The Spice Empire. Proper motivation to keep those legs going.

Albeit a VERY wet one this time round. 🌧️🍺

We’re crossing everything for better weather on the big day, but a little rain never stopped a proper countryside pint.

Fresh out the brewhouse 🍻

The second beer in our Single Hop Series is brewed and will be ready to make its way into pubs this June… Rakau.

This smooth and fruit forward 4.4% Session IPA showcases Rakau hops with soft stone fruit character and an easy drinking finish.

This brew was also a little different for another reason. Colin took Greg, one of our delivery drivers, under his wing to give him a deeper insight into the brewing process behind the beers he delivers every week.

So when Greg drops off your June special, make sure to ask him all about how the latest Single Hop Series was brewed 👀🍺

Not a bad haul at the latest Midlands SIBA awards… 🍻

🏆 Dhustone Stout Bottle – GOLD & Category Champion
Bottle & Can Session Dark Beer up to 4.4%

Another regional gold for Dhustone hot on the heels of its CAMRA success. Up against nitro cans in the category too, which makes this one even sweeter for our traditional bottle conditioned stout packed full of flavour.

🥈 Champion Nitro Mild – SILVER
Keg British Ale up to 6.4%

At just 3.2%, this beer proves flavour always beats strength. Smooth, rich and packed with character.

🥈 Citra Mosaic Keg – SILVER
Keg Session Pale Ale up to 4.4%

Backing up last year’s success once again. Dependable, full of citrus hop character and seriously sessionable. A proper modern Hobsons favourite.

🥈 Old Prickly – SILVER
Bottle & Can Session Pale Ale up to 4.4%

Another brilliant result for our bottle conditioned pale ale in a seriously packed category. We’re incredibly proud of how consistently this beer performs against top competition year after year.

🥈 Old Henry – SILVER
Bottle & Can Amber, Brown & Red Ale up to 6.4%

The strongest beer in our core range at 5.2%, Old Henry continues to prove its pedigree in bottle with another fantastic award performance.

We’ve received our certificate of appreciation from Lingen Davies Cancer Support after donating £547 from our Six Sirens beer.

Six Sirens was a fantastic project to be part of and marks just the start of our fundraising journey.

If you look closely, you might also spot a little sneak peek of our new bar runner sample and on it, a change…

🍻 TAPROOM OPEN- Saturday 30th May from 3pm 🍻

The Food & Ale Trail 2026 is nearly here… and whether you’re taking on the 10 miles or just heading straight for the finish line, the brewery will be ready and pouring.

We’re teaming up with Cleobury Country Centre in aid of the Friends of Cleobury Mortimer Sports Centre for a full day of countryside walking, proper food stops, and Hobsons pints along the route.

National Pub Day feels like the perfect time to say it… support your local.

We’re lucky enough to visit some brilliant pubs that support us, so we’ll always do what we can to support them back.
