The Last night of ever locking The New Inn doors. The keys will be handed back tomorrow morning

The time has come where our last pints have been pulled tonight, the final bell has been rung and our last orders have been called ! All of our lovely, loyal customers have drank the bar dry for us and we will now stop trading under our ‘Greatorex’ name!

Words cannot explain how we would like to sum up the last 18 years it certainly has been a rollercoaster in so many different ways, running a pub isn't just a job , it’s a lifestyle and it’s 24/7 -Not doing it anymore
is going to be life changing for us both.

We have met some amazing people along the way , the young partygoers, the elderly lunch time crew, the weird and wonderful, those that have pushed our buttons and those that have made us laugh until we cried not to mention those that we now class as life long friends.

The New Inn is a special pub and holds so memories not only for us but for our families , even our children have their own stores to tell, their own celebrations to remember and their own memories of our time here.

We would like to thank all those brilliant people that have worked for us and put up with us we know we aren’t always easy - we couldn’t have done it without you all over the years !

Thankyou to those that have used the pub for their own family celebrations which we were then part of, their nights out, their place to eat, their local , there place to meet friends, drown their sorrows and make their own memories, it has been such a privilege to serve you all ( most of the time 😉) and words cannot describe how much we will miss you, the pub and all it has brought us over the years.

A big big Thankyou to those that organised and contributed to the really touching and special gifts you gave us, Hannah & Becky and of course the speech by Russ - we were quite literally overwhelmed.

We could go on and on about the life of being the New Inn landlords, what the pub has meant to us and the memories we have but we fear that may bore you all or drive you to drink and we’re all out so …….

Ladies and Gents , tonight - Thursday the 31st of March will be the last night of trading for us as your Landlords !

We will have the following stock available - Amstel, Stella, Guinness and Thatchers Gold along with all main wine and spirits .

Evening All

We just wanted to let you all know that although yes it is true we are sadly leaving The New Inn after 18 years but we are open this week trading until we have no stock to serve you ! We are anticipating this will be Wednesday/Thursday this week ! We are the proud Landlords until the 8th April when the day will come for us to lock the doors for one last time hand the keys over to the pub company.
So as the saying goes ‘it ain’t over until the fat lady sings’ or in our case when we ring that last orders bell for the last time So come and have one last drink with us - you know you want to 😉

And now the end is near…….18 years and over…..end of an era……

To all our valued customers over the last 18 years, we wanted to let you know that March will be our last month trading as the New Inn Landlords.

We are unable to give a last date of being open at this time as it will be stock dependant as we wind down the business and empty the premises.

So our plea to you all is if you want one last night out at the New Inn with us for old times sake, to relive old memories or to make some final ones please come and see us sooner rather than later ! We would love our final 5/6 weeks of owning the pub to be full of you - our brilliant customers and friends before we call our final Last Orders and the pub we love is changed and moved into its next chapter.
