Here's the current lineup - though we're pretty sure that'll have changed by closing time tonight!

Don't forget - we're hosting a W**e Tasting session with from 5pm till 7pm this evening. We're upgrading/expanding our w**e selection as many of you have requested, so we've drafted in an expert to help us choose. We'll be putting some cheese and nibbles on the bar to cleanse our palettes!

We've got live music Saturday and Sunday!

Saturday we have high octane Lo-Fi Rockabilly with The Gadgets, who, since they last played for us a year ago, have been gigging relentlessly and attracting lots of attention.

Then on Sunday we're looking forward to A Touch Of Jazz featuring solo artiste Ebony Mariesa Sturges. If you're a fan of Post Modern Jukebox you will not want to miss this!

What's on tonight? (Thursday)

It's the 2nd Thursday of the month, which can only mean it's our lovely monthly FOLK SESSION in the front bar from 8pm. Bring your lutes, your crumhorns, jaws harp, spoons etc and join in!

Food:

Food served 5pm - 8pm, and our Special tonight is fresh Rump Steak, served in a Ciabatta with lettuce, caramelised onion, paprika sauce and a small basket of fries,
OR with Crispy Chunky Chips and peas - for just £9.50!!!
First come, first served - we've not had this on the menu for a long, long time, so we expect to sell out fairly quickly!

Ales:

Petrichor is on - I repeat; Petrichor is ON!!!
And so's the new Dead Brewers Society - it's a proper-tasting traditional Bitter, and it's cloudy, but it's supposed to be cloudy. (No such thing as finings in 1909! 😂)

Here's a snapshot of what's on, and what's coming up on the pumps.

You may recall last month enjoying gallons of Hunt Edmunds, a 1930's heritage brew recipe found by , faithfully brought back to life by Vale Brewery . We are excited to bring to you their latest collaboration: Rogers' AK Bitter (Bristol), from 1909! 😮
There's no tasting notes, so come and make your own. This'll be going on the pumps as a matter of urgency.

There was a lot of 💯 positive feedback about ABC's limited edition Petrichor, and a lot of moans from those who arrived too late to sample (Snooze=Lose!) The good news is it'll be back on this weekend as soon as there's room on the pumps 😁

Advanced warning, Broughtoneers:

Our cellar is having a long-overdue overhaul and upgrade later this month, starting Monday 28th September.

We are told the work will take three days, but hope to reopen at 5pm on Wednesday 30th.

If all goes to plan, we'll have swanky new taps for all the c***r and la**rs, too - as well as (finally) welcoming Cruz Campo to the fold!

We'll be using this opportunity to tackle as many upgrades/repairs as we can elsewhere around the building, to avoid further disruption (and popping down to London on the evening of Tuesday 29th to watch The Wh**ky Flowers blow the roof off the Legendary 100 Club, if anyone wants to join us!)

This has been a long time coming, folks. We've been doing our best, in these ridiculously challenging times for pubs across the country, to push things forward and give this amazing community hub the care and attention it deserves; a place you can relax, unwind and enjoy.

From our hearts we thank you for your continued support - it means the world to us.

It's Broughton Village Show Day!

As usual we'll be closed between 3 & 5pm today so we can wander up and enjoy the shenanigans - and have a boogie watching our friends The Wh**ky Flowers!
