We're back! Open from 5pm Tuesday, assuming we can put the pub back together in time 🤣
We've recharged our batteries (a bit), and cracked on with a load of jobs we've been wanting to tackle for months, with help from some of our amazing and generous regulars. More info soon on our new FB The Red Lion Pub & Grub, Broughton

Happy New Year's Eve, Broughtoneers!
Before the Last Hurrah of the silly season commences, Mikki and I would like to say a massive, heartfelt, thank you to all our wonderful regulars and patrons for your support and encouragement over the last eight months. It's a genuine pleasure to serve.
We want, also, to give a big shout-out to our incredible team who've worked their butts off in the kitchen, in the cafe and behind the bar.
We're closing the doors at 12:30am tonight, and taking a week off to recharge our batteries and start planning for the year ahead.
Meantime, we wish all of you a very happy new year!

Red Lion fodder notice Christmas Eve/Christmas Day:

Please note, on Christmas Eve, we'll not be serving our usual Sunday lunch. We will be providing various buffet nibbles for folks to help themselves to throughout the day, instead.

On Christmas Day our kitchen will be closed, however, we're making a huge pot of beef stew for anyone who wishes to partake.

Yes, The Very Lazy Sundays return to the Red Lion next Saturday evening (30th December). The back room was packed last time they performed here in October, so grab your seats and tables early!

Tonight we're hosting our monthly folk session in the front bar, possibly with chestnuts roasting on the open fire. Join in, sing along, or just enjoy the vibe with a drink or two...

Here's our opening hours over the silly season, Broughtoneers!

We're really looking forward to celebrating our first Christmas at the Red Lion with you all.

We'll be closed from New Year's Day for a week, to give us a chance to recharge our batteries - we hope you'll understand.

Looking forward to raising a glass with you all!
