🐾 A little update from The Greyhound… 🐾

You may have noticed the scaffolding is still up as our external redecoration continues. Don’t worry though – we’re open as normal throughout and it’s very much business as usual inside! 🍻

We’ve had a few people ask about our much-loved Doggy Wall, so we wanted to reassure everyone that it’s staying.

In fact, we fought pretty hard to keep it when we took over the pub! 😆

Many of the wonderful dogs featured have been part of The Greyhound family over the years, and although some are sadly no longer with us, their portraits remain a special reminder of the memories they’ve left behind. ❤️

The wall is simply having a gentle clean-up and refresh as part of the wider works, and we’ll be making sure these familiar faces continue to have pride of place outside the pub.

Thank you for bearing with us while we give The Greyhound a little freshen up. We can’t wait to show you the finished result!

BAR & WAITING STAFF REQUIRED 🍻

We’re looking for permanent bar/waiting staff to join our team at The Greyhound.

Weekend availability is essential, along with a friendly, hardworking attitude and the ability to work in a busy pub environment.

Please note this is a permanent position, so it wouldn’t be suitable for anyone home from university just for the summer — we’re lucky to already have plenty of lovely uni students helping us out during holidays 😊

Experience is preferred but the right personality and work ethic matter most.
