Vinyl Nights at Viajante87

Every Thursday, 7–12PM.

Thursdays at our Notting Hill cocktail bar are all about vinyls, with Latin grooves, Afro rhythms, jazz, funk and soul on the turntable.

Our DJ takes care of the soundtrack, with three special Cointreau margaritas to get acquainted with.

Come for a drink, leave with a few new tracks to look up.

One small interruption: we’re closed for a private party tonight. Yours again next Thursday.

No, it’s not food colouring.

That’s maíz morado. Purple corn, grown for centuries in Peru’s Andean valleys, where mild days give way to cold nights.

Grown on the cob and dried after harvest, it brings natural sweetness and that unmistakable violet colour.

It’s the starting point for chicha morada, the much-loved Peruvian soft drink traditionally simmered with pineapple, cinnamon and clove. And the base of our Chi Chi Soda.

We take that purple corn base, add Grey Goose vodka, lean into the warming clove and carbonate it in-house.
