This Thursday the 17th is the first of our monthly steak nights.
We pride ourselves on our chargrilled steaks always from local quality butcher CJ Barker High Quality Butchers.
That isn’t changing but we want to introduce over the months some different cuts and ideas for serving, highlighting the great local produce and businesses we have in our area.

We are so looking forward to this afternoon, the forecast is still good for later, ignore the rain now!!
We know that Skasouls have wonderfully loyal support and for information, particularly if you are visiting our lovely pub for the first time, roadside parking is fine but limited, we have very kindly had it agreed that we can use the field behind the church for extra parking, it will be signposted opposite the pub.
Can’t wait to see you all later for a lovely afternoon of togetherness through music and b**r !!!

We are not quite ready to let go of summer and the weekend forecast is looking good for our last pub garden party this Sunday the 6th with Skasouls!!!
So excited to have them here, our grill will be fired up for burgers and hot dogs, plus we have our range of Brick pizzas, plenty of b**r w**e and cocktails.. it’s going to be a Sunday to remember 😊

The summer and August have been amazing but we love the ‘bers’.
Kicking SeptemBER off with the first of our monthly curry nights, tomorrow Thursday 3rd.
Eat in or takeaway is available, all from 5pm.
Moving forward curry night will be the first Thursday of the month, and steak night will be the fourth Thursday. Quiz night is of course the third Thursday. That leaves the second one, what should we do for that ?!

RED LION NEWS

I’m not even going to discuss how hot it is today, other than to say stay cool however you can, which could include a nice b**r garden!!

Next Thursday the 20th August is quiz night, with the usual plan of please let me know if your team is in and food choices can follow, this month we have:
Sausage egg and chips
Ham egg and chips
Scampi and chips
Garden burger (vegan/veg)

The weekend from Friday 21st we are going Greek themed with tasty food dishes through to our Sunday Social with a Mykonos Magic music vibe!!! Gavros could be found at times entertaining the folks!

With September around the corner we are going to introduce a monthly curry night and a monthly steak night, great classic pub nights! The first curry night will be September the 3rd and steak night will be September the 24th.

We know we are a community that looks out for each other, and that can include in these weather conditions, so please call us if you need anything.
