A busy couple weeks for Bars4You!

Starting the summer of with a bang at Kelso Rugby Football Club 7s a few weeks ago and then followed by our first appearance at Jed-Forest RFC 7s the past weekend!

A big thank you to Kelso RFC for the continued relationship and great to see the club thriving and 7s going from strength to strength.

Jed 7s was a fantastic day and greatly organised. We look forward to working alongside a great club in future years.

Lastly a massive thank you to all the hard working staff that give up their time to work long hours for us. We wouldn’t be in the position to be able to keep growing without you. We appreciate you all massively!

Here’s to the rest of a busy a summer!

Laidlaw Jed-Forest 7s Draw is in!

The fixtures for this year’s Laidlaw Jed-Forest 7s – part of the BE Sports Kings of the Sevens – on Saturday 16th May 2026 have been drawn!

Thank you to Jed-Forest RFC President John Evans and Border League Treasurer Stuart Kinghorn, who kindly performed the draw last night at Riverside Park.

Here’s the full running order:

- 2:00pm – Melrose vs Boroughmuir
- 2:18pm – Hawick vs Watsonians
- 2:36pm – Jed-Forest vs Berwick
- 2:54pm – Selkirk vs Stirling County
- 3:12pm – Edinburgh Accies vs Langholm
- 3:30pm – Gala vs Heriots
- 3:48pm – Kelso vs Edinburgh Uni
- 4:06pm – Peebles vs Musselburgh

We’re still looking for team sponsors at just £35 per team.

Great to see our player sponsor Dwain Patterson starting at 10 for the Scotland Club XV across in Ireland tonight. Also well done to Dan and Archie on making the bench. Best of luck lads🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Congratulations to Dan Gamble, Dwain Patterson and Archie Barbour, who have been selected for the Scotland Club XV squad to take on Ireland Club XV in Dublin on Friday night.

Dwain starts the game in the 10 jersey, with Archie and Dan on the bench. We will share how to watch the game later in the week.

It is a tremendous reflection of the club's performances this season that all three have made it, not just into the wider training group but into the matchday squad itself.

Hello everyone,

On behalf of the Executive Committee I’m writing to inform you that following an emergency meeting last night, we have reluctantly had to make the decision to cancel this year’s Show. The incoming weather has the potential to cause considerable damage to the Marquees & we also have a duty of care to you all, placing you in what could be an unsafe environment. Angela & the team will be in touch regarding monies that have been paid, rolling over to next year or being refunded. We plan to proceed with the Grand Prize Draw which will be drawn Saturday afternoon, more details to follow later. Colin Woodcock, Chairman
