It’s the beginning of a new week at The Crafty Tavern Irby… and to mark it we have a few new beers, we also have not one but two pieces of entertainment for you all this week.

Starting with The Crafty Quiz which is back tomorrow night (Wednesday 10th June) please arrive before 7pm✍️

Not only that we also have a gig this Friday Night from Craig Mac. He’s back for more, again this is an acoustic session🎙️

Alongside this we will be showing the England friendly match on Wednesday after the quiz and also the world cup games which kick off on Thursday, for the later games our closing times may differ for the reasonably timed games⚽️

New beers on the taps today:

On cask we have Neptune Brewery Scuba. Diving right into this weeks starting lineup of incredible beers, a session pale at 3.8%, packs a fruity punch🤿

A bit of a different one we have an alcoholic ginger beer on draft today, Dusty’s Ginger Beer is 3.4% and refreshing as you can get. It’s also Gluten Free!🫚

Also returning to our keg and cask taps and pumps we have fan favourites Brimstage Brewery Trapper’s Hat🎩(3.8% Cask) and Azvex Brewing Co. Electronic Butterfly🦋(4% Keg) back on now… Come and try🍺

There’s still time to enjoy some nice cold pints this weekend yet… with some of your favourite guest beers back on our menu, and some newbies.

Warsteiner returns to our guest lager tap, at the same ABV as the previous Früh Kölsch, at 4.8% this German Pilsner has more hop power🇩🇪

Another Salopian Brewery cask ale but this time it’s one we’ve had many of times before, Shropshire Gold is back in the lineup, a 3.8% session bitter🍺

It’s about time we had another Azvex Brewing Co. heavy hitting strong IPA… Welcome: Dust Bunnies, a 7.2%, hazy IPA filled with Krush, Mosaic & Citra hops giving it a beautiful tropical fruit flavour. Don’t be put off by the ABV, this is one to try🐇🐰

The World Cup is nearly upon us… so why not a bit of fun. We are doing a sweepstake, pay £5 (CASH ONLY) to enter, you get 2 teams, there is 24 entries available as there are 48 teams in the world cup. One of your teams win and you take home the £120. We are planning on drawing the teams next tuesday 2nd June, come in to the pub to pay behind bar. Once the World cup begins (11th) we will be showing the reasonable timed games in our back room, with the added pressure of who’s going to win the sweepstake. GOOD LUCK!!🗺️⚽️

Our friends from over the water at Neptune Brewery are back on our cask lines. Luna, a sessionable pale, with fruity and floral flavours. 4.1%

Harness your hopes is a creamy hazy IPA with a beautiful hint of stone fruit from a brewery making their Crafty Tavern Irby debut!! Pentrich Brewing Co.

We’ve had SALT Beer Factory Vermont XPA Topaz edition recently but now we have the mosaic hops version on the taps, this one is softer, fruitier, not as hoppy, come and make your comparison. OPEN NOW!!🍺
