🎶 💙Lounge Aid Update! 💙🎶

Wondering what’s next? We’re delighted to be hosting an evening of live music on the 25th of June to help raise money for Suffolk Mind, a fantastic charity providing vital mental health support within our community. 💙

First up, we have The Jentones – a talented musical duo featuring singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Jennie Suzanne Venus and Tony Woodley. Known for their eclectic mix of original songs and a wide-ranging selection of cover tracks, they always bring something special to the stage.

Joining them is Roger Douglas, a versatile London-born vocalist and musician who specialises in romantic ballads from the 1970s and 1980s. With deep roots in the live music scenes of Birmingham and North London, Roger’s contemporary repertoire combines soulful classics with a diverse range of musical influences.

We’re also excited to welcome Digital IDS, a four-piece band blending electronic music with spoken word performances, they create a unique and captivating live experience.

We can’t wait to see you there for a fantastic evening of music, community spirit, and fundraising for a great cause. 🎵💙

💙 Lounge Aid Update – £1,012 Raised So Far! 🎉
We’re only halfway through June, and what an incredible two weeks it has been raising money for Suffolk Mind!

Our team took on the challenge of walking from Ipswich to Felixstowe, we hosted a fantastic quiz night, enjoyed plenty of bake sales, and many of you got involved by naming our teddy bears and guessing how many sweets were in the jar.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that, thanks to your generosity and support, we’ve smashed our original fundraising target of £500 and have now raised an amazing £1,012! Can we get to £2,000?! 😼

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, participated, and supported our fundraising efforts so far. We still have more planned throughout the month such as our Japanese bracelet making workshop on the 17th and our Live music night on the 25th so watch this space!😎

We’re delighted to announce that next week’s Lounge Aid event will focus on peace, relaxation, and a touch of creativity 🧵

We’ve partnered with to host a special Japanese kimono bracelet-making workshop, offering the perfect opportunity to unwind, connect with others, and create something beautiful to take home.

All ticket sales will be donated to Suffolk Mind, a fantastic local charity providing vital mental health support within our community. 💙

We hope you’ll join us for a relaxing and inspiring evening as we embrace the Japanese concept of ikigai — finding joy, purpose, and meaning in the little things 🫶

Lounge Aid 2026 – Supporting Suffolk Mind

This year, we’re proud to be supporting Suffolk Mind - a fantastic charity providing mental health support, counselling, and wellbeing training throughout our local community. It’s a cause that touches so many people and one we can all connect with in some way.

The events we’ve chosen are all about mindfulness, movement, friendship, and fun. Here’s what we’ve got coming up:

June 3rd – Team Walk: Ipswich to Felixstowe 🚶‍♀️🌊
We’ll be starting at the Mind Shop in Ipswich and finishing at the Mind Shop in Felixstowe! It’s a beautiful scenic route taking around 4.5 hours.

June 10th – Speed Quizzing with DJ Mal 🧠🎶
• £2 minimum donation per player
• All proceeds go to Suffolk Mind
• Players will still have the chance to win vouchers and prizes!

June 17th – Embroidery Workshop with “Crafty Buba” 🧵✨
• £7 per person to take part
• All proceeds donated to Suffolk Mind

June 25th – Marinero Live Night 🎸
An acoustic-led live music evening to help raise awareness, donations, and enjoy a great night together.

Plus, throughout the month…
• Weekend bake sales led by our talented chefs
• Fun bar games like “Guess the Number of Sweets in the Jar”
• Our special Lounge Aid Cocktails 🍸

→ ‘Golden Hour’ and alcohol free ‘Berry Me In Glitter’
→ £1 from every cocktail sold will be donated to Suffolk Mind
