Did we say BEER FESTIVAL?

Yup, we did! This weekend we have a range of reqp ales for you all to taste! Pints are all 3.95 or 4.25, poured straight from the cask by Ray and friends and when its gone, its gone!

Our real ales are:

BREWSTERS HOPHEAD 3.6%
CASTLE ROCK OUR HOUSE 3.4%
FIREBRAND SHIPWRECK COAST 4.0%
PHEASANTRY BEST BITTER 3.8%
RUDGATE BATTLEAXE 4.2%
TAYLORS DARK MILD 3.4%
VALE BRILL GOLD 3.4%
WOODFORDES NELSONS 4.5%

All of which are from small breweries who produce these unique craft ales.

We also will have a FULL MENU throughout the weekend (Including Roasts on Sunday.. please book in advance!). We will also have a Breakfast menu available!

The Festival opening hours are:

Fri - 5pm-Midnight (Pub opens at 12 noon!)
Sat - 10am-Midnight
Sun - 10am-10pm

The beers will be available from the Snug during these times! Food will be available these times up to 8pm also!

BUT THATS NOT ALL!!

We also have vocalist Gina singing for us Saturday evening! So what more could you ask for? Beer, Food, entertainment.. and a pretty cool venue.

Sarah and Terry (Thats us!) invite you all to our opening this friday!

While our grand opening will not be til Jan next year, we are opening the doors from this friday to welcome you all to The Suffolk Punch Pub! We just couldnt wait any longer!

This is our soft opening, so not everything may be in place or where we wish it to be eventually but we're here and we're open.

Oh yes and as you may have just noticed; we are Sarah and Terry, your new local publicians! We'll be here welcoming you all in with our family to say hi!

Doors open at 5pm sharp, and from now till end of this year we'll be open from 12 till 12!

Good morning everyone!

As I am sure many of you are aware, The Suffolk Punch is REOPENING!

We have a new page:

Please head to the page and follow us for all upcoming events, shows and offers available.

Oh, to answer some commonly asked questions....

- We are opening early/mid November
- We will be doing Pub Grub AND Gastro delights
- We have already booked in Live Bands, Discos, Quiz Nights, Kareoke but also are planning open mic nights, comedy nights, films etc
- We will be open EVERYDAY from 12noon onwards. But plan to open for longer hours
- We will not only be open Christmas Day, but will also be offering a Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings cooked by our fantastic in house Chef.
- We are looking to source all or at least most of our food from local sources (Including the local Butcher a couple of shops down).
- We are aiming for as close to ZERO waste as possible.
- While I am Ipswich born and bred, my partner is from Norfolk and this is the first pub we have taken on. We do however run multiple cinemas in the country. We will reveal who we are soon!
- We are Dog friendly!
- We will also have a resident cat called Thomas O'
Malley (Yes hes a large long haired ginger tom...)
- We are friendly and dont bite!
