A customised La Verre de Vin + tower behind the bar at The Grove, one of the reasons they’re able to run such an extensive by-the-glass Laurent-Perrier list and keep strengthening that partnership.

The Grove pours five of these cuvées by the glass, La Cuvée through to the 2015 Brut Millésimé. A partnership built on that kind of pedigree deserves a system to match, and one that ensures every glass is the quality expected.

Maçakızı, Bodrum. Named to the extended list of the World’s 50 Best Hotels 2026 (No. 76), and a proud location for Bermar.

The restaurant holds one Michelin star under Executive Chef Aret Sahakyan. The wine list spans premium Turkish producers alongside major European regions, with a strong Champagne selection.

A PODBAR+ Twin is installed behind the bar, preserving and displaying both still and sparkling wine via two independently controlled refrigeration units and the central ePreserve preservation module.

The White Hart📍Maulden.

A seventeenth century thatched pub with a garden built for long afternoons, The White Hart in Maulden has always had the setting right. Now the wine list is catching up to match it.
The by-the-glass selection runs with real range for a village pub, from a citrussy Picpoul de Pinet out of the Languedoc through to a structured Rioja Castillo Reserva with cherry and a spiced finish. Rosé and prosecco are both properly represented too, poured by the glass rather than tucked away as bottle-only extras.

A list that wide by the glass needs the right system behind it, which is exactly why The White Hart has installed a Le Verre de Vin+ Compact behind the bar. Built for tight spaces, it fits neatly under the counter. It means the Picpoul poured on a quiet Tuesday tastes the same as the one poured on a busy Sunday, and nothing on that list has to sit unopened for the sake of caution.

A proper pub, doing wine properly.

Great to see Windlesham Golf Club improving their wine preservation with an installation of the Le Verre de Vin + Tower.

Not only does the club provide a spectacular course, it’s also serving excellent wines. From easy drinking Chenin blanc to single vineyard Meursault and Gevrey Chambertin from Burgundy’s largest producing village, it’s certainly a list with range.

Great golf deserves great wine.

We would opt for:
Sauvignon Blanc, Neptune Point, Marlborough
It’s a glass that works whether you’re still in your golf shoes on the patio, or settling into the conservatory for the evening. Bright citrus, a touch of gooseberry and a soft edge of vanilla, a classic Marlborough Sauvignon.

Chianti, Antico Fregio
A lighter touch than most reds on the list, the ideal pour for after a round solo or with food. A dry style with gentle tannins.

In sufficient wine preservation can be the tipping point from turning good wine bad. You may think you’re following the correct steps, but could more be done to ensure bottles are being poured to the standard you expect?

We’re proud to support all establishments in making good wine better. The Le Verre De Vin+ tower offers the opportunity for the football club to offer a wider range of wines by the glass by ensuring their preservation is top tier.

Just a few examples of installations taken place last week. Pubs are raising the game in terms of their wines by the glass, and understand that simply offering a small offering is no longer adequate. We’re finding that pubs are wanting to offer customers choice, and a good choice at that.

Name your local pub that’s taking their wine list to new heights and offering wines by the glass to wow.

At The Suffolk in Aldeburgh, director George Pell talks us through three of his favourite pours by the glass this season: the wines he keeps returning to alongside the fresh seafood, and that famous côte de boeuf. The perfect pairings for summer days by the coast.

Save this for your next visit to Aldeburgh 🥂

Laurent-Perrier Héritage Champagne
France

Built on Laurent-Perrier’s reserve wine expertise: a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir drawn from 40 crus, aged a minimum of four years. Lemon and white peach on the nose give way to toasted bread and almond, with a fresh, layered palate closing on honeyed florals.

A premium by the glass offering, ideal for oysters.

Château Lestrille Capmartin Blanc
Bordeaux, France
2021

A Sauvignon-led white from Entre-Deux-Mers, barrel-fermented and aged on lees for texture. White peach and pear on the nose, with honey and a gentle toast from the oak. Citrus freshness runs through a creamy palate, apricot carrying to a long, balanced finish.
Excellent alongside shellfish.

Castello di Tornano Tornus DOCG Chianti Classico
Italy
2023

Sangiovese-led with a touch of Merlot, aged ten months in French oak. Sour cherry, wild strawberry and mulberry on the nose, with real structure on the palate.
Firm tannins and lifted acidity give it the backbone the côte de boeuf needs.
