Meet Bertie, who loves popping in with his owner Malcolm

What’s coming up at The Shannon Inn?

We’ve got a packed few months ahead…

Halloween quiz – Wednesday 28 October
Get your team together for a Halloween-themed quiz night. Teams can be a maximum of 6 people and, as part of the evening, everyone will enjoy a meal from our special quiz menu. £10 deposit when booking, with the remaining £5 paid on the night – £15 per person including your meal. Please note, food must be pre-ordered at least one week before the quiz.

Halloween party – Saturday 31 October
Join us for a Halloween night at The Shannon Inn.
We’ll be serving our normal menu, so you can book a table as usual and enjoy dinner before the entertainment. Live singer Aiden will be performing from 8pm, with three 45-minute sets throughout the evening.

UB40 tribute & ska night – Friday 20 November
Get ready for a night of UB40 favourites and ska classics with our live tribute and ska entertainment.
Our normal menu will be available, so you can book a table as usual and make an evening of it.

Festive menu – 23 November to 30 December
Our festive menu will be available throughout the Christmas season, giving you plenty of opportunity to get together with family, friends or colleagues over a good meal at The Shannon Inn.

MEET THE TEAM – Niamh & Rosie

Today we’re introducing two of our lovely team members at The Shannon Inn…Niamh & Rosie!

Niamh (left) works back of house in our busy kitchen and aside is a big football fan, she enjoys playing football outside of work whenever she can and loves heading to Ipswich games! Her go to meal has to be our pulled pork loaded fries!

Rosie (right) has worked at the pub a few years, works front of house and enjoys keeping customers happy but outside of work she loves getting out and about in her car and spending time with her friends. She’s also a big animal lover, with her cats and chickens keeping her busy outside of work! Her favourite meal is scampi with LOTS of tartar sauce 😂

Favourite drink? Both agree… Coke on draught!

Favourite local?
Niamh – Mark Berry
Rosie – Lee Marsh

However they both enjoy talking to all the locals that come in.
