Tonight is my last night behind The Smiddy Bar. Thank you everyone its been a blast lots of parties, band nights and bingo. I do love a party 🥳 I want to wish Tash all the success in the world as she takes over the rains tomorrow. I hope you all look after her and support your little pub, she will be amazing. The pub is open tonight from 5pm to 10pm if you fancy a pint although I should warn there is no Guinness left 🫣 sorry. Tash will take over the Face book page from tomorrow. Pub Update
My time as landlady is coming to an end.
It has been a great two years of my life, but I have made the decision to move on to pastures new.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me during my time at the pub. From the amazing bands to all the brilliant nights we’ve had, it has been so much fun and I’ll always be grateful for the memories.
A special thank you to all the staff, past and present, for your hard work, loyalty, and support. I couldn’t have done it without you.
The pub will be in very safe hands as I pass the baton over to Tash, who you all know and who knows the pub inside and out. I know she will do an amazing job, and I wish her every success in the world.
There are still a few weeks to go, as the pub will remain under my management until the 12th of June. It will then close for a couple of days to turn around stock etc, before reopening under Tash’s management.
I wish her all the luck in the world and I look forward to enjoying a night out on the other side of the bar.
