It’s not been an an easy week…but the time has come 😒
As you are all aware we have been closed for a period of time, we have tried hard to seek outside investment to help support the business but unfortunately this has come to no fruition.
It’s been a wild ride and never anticipated everything that’s happened since we opened over 5 years ago. Ups and downs along the way but it’s come to a point in trading with huge energy bills, staff shortages, the rising costs of everything across the board, less footfall and people not eating out as much, as a result the numbers just don’t stack up. It’s been a hard call and a long time thinking it over but we feel now is the right time to call it a day.
It’s been a big learning curve, but I’m very proud of what we have achieved over the years, a glowing national review in the first few months as Host and mentions in some of the top guides.
A massive thank you to all our customers and our landlord who have supported me over the last 5 years, and thank you to any staff who have been there for me too. Now it’s time to focus some quality time with family and friends, and reset for a little while.
A huge thank you to my family, especially my wife & dad, who have supported me through all the struggles this industry has thrown at us. There is no way I could of reached this far without them.
Finally everyone who is reading this please support your local independents, it’s tough out there,
